Crossbill and Baby Bird ID:  Others1 Carrie Griffis from Washington writes: Hello, We had these two Crossbills here today. The baby was pretty funny, looked like he was saying, watch me mom! The Crossbill's habitat is coniferous forest, occasionally in the woodlands. They like cones but they also like our black oiled sunflower seeds. They have been quite regular at the feeder.
